writing your tricks down

Postby jonathanr678 » Mar 4th, '10, 11:46

hi

i dont know if this is in the right section but here is my question

would it be a bad idea in writing down all the magic tricks in detail with a pilot friction pen. then heating the paper up so the writing goes so know 1 would know whats there. what iam saying is, is it a good idea to write down your tricks.

I fail to see the point of writing something and then 'hiding' it.

Just use a computer with password if you are that concerned.

Do you think someone is going to steal what you have written then ?

I think you should tell me all the tricks, and swear me to secrecy on this bible.

I write my tricks down in my Book of Shadows. This personal grimoire is protected by a curse that makes it invisible to anyone but me. Oh, and the girls from "Charmed" funnily enough. I've granted them access. If you know what I mean. Fnar fnar.

I'm pretty sure all mine are already written down, or on DVD; at least, that's how they arrive.

I was going to claim dibs on Shannen Doherty because she really is a very naughty girl. But in the end it's Alyssa who owns my heart.

Although I like the idea in concept, much like writing in reverse after the manner of Da Vinci, it's probably not necessary.

When I'm going through my notebooks I need them to hand as quickly as possible - they're badly organised enough as it is!

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

i have stuff written down on bits of paper, notebooks, fag packets... you name it, i have it complete with a note, or sketch on it..And most of the time, I cant find it.. so why should i make the writing invisible?

( besides, the ideas book i have with the big stage Illusions in, include detailed drawings, and water colours.)

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

It's not my fault. I was conditioned by a society that has a binary view of genders.

I just write my ideas in Welsh.. seems to do the trick, and let's face it how many Welsh-first-language speakers like me would be interested in my deck of cards (we're all too busy farming usually! ;) )
