Has anyone seen 'Portal' by Steve Shufton and David Regal? Im quite interested in the effect and haven't really seen any priniciples like it! But the price told me NO WAY!
If anyone has purchased the trick, is it really worth £44.99 for worldmagicshop??
For those who haven't witnessed the strange yet rousing effect check out the link:

Cheers!

Hey

Videos look awesome although from viewing it, i believe a lot of sleight of hand would be involoved. No doubt theres a nice little secret to the device...i rekon you need to be good with your hands.

for the price? i dont know, i like it and if i was that kind of performer i would buy this but depends what you are in to

No sleight of hand needed at all! Easy as can be. Still takes a bit of practice, more or less, depending on your routine (like ANY effect).

You can get it less expensively depending on the shop.

This was extremely expensive to develop: Die cut balsa wood, "color-bender" sheets and high quality, thick art-board veneers, paint, gimmicks, hand made crochetted balls, video at Magic Castle, DVD production, packaging, etc. All die cut, hand sanded, edges painted, assembled and packaged by yours truly. David Regal did a great job on the DVD - lots of routines and ideas to get you started. Simple moves thoroughly explained.

It has received strong reviews in the mags, etc, but I look forward to seeing what you think!

Yes, I know this is an old thread - but Martin Breese International is currently selling this at £10. I imagine they have the last ones.

I probably have the "last ones" and I plan to keep them in stock always. Martin Breese, my dear friend, was a fan of the effect. His arrangement with me was to always sell them at retail, just like I do. I still sell them with frequency from my site: shufton.com.

Regards-

-Steve
